Blurb
Nina Bloom is a successful lawyer and loving mother who would do anything to protect the life she’s built in New York – including lying to everyone and her daughter about her past. When an innocent man is frame for murder, she knows that she can’t let him pay for the real killer’s crime.
The Review
I picked up “Now You See Her” to read this month because I needed a break from the heavy reading that I’ve been doing recently. I enjoy reading thriller books and this definitely didn’t disappoint. Nina Bloom’s character though naive is one that the reader immediately gets endeared to. Her character did make a few reckless decisions in the story which seems congruent with her overall portrayal, but at times made for a loose plot. The short snappy chapters however did help to build suspense and overall it’s an enjoyable read with twists and a few surprising arcs.
Note: CBS is possibly developing a legal drama based on the book
