Throwback Thursday: UmmFariha Network Ramadan Collaborations

Who remembers when we started the 100-day countdown for Ramadan? And now it’s just two days away. May Allah grant us the blessing of being able to witness this beautiful month. I’ve been very fortunate to collaborate with The Umm Fariha Network for the past two years during Ramadan so I’m just doing a little throwback to three of my favourite posts in the preparing for Ramadan 2017 series.

What will you sacrifice

This post lays emphasis on the importance of introspection and planning for success before Ramadan arrives. To read the post click this link.

The Messenger of Allah PBUH said,

“whosoever leaves something for the sake of Allah then Allah, the Mighty and Magnificent, will replace it with something better than it.”

Responsibility and Repentance

In this episode of Audible Reflections, I share insights based on a story from the life of our beloved Prophet Musa AS. Click this link to listen to the podcast.

Connecting With Allah

In this episode of Audible Reflections, I share reflections on the 11th ayah of Surah Tahreem which records the dua of Asiya (RA). I chose the story of Asiya (RA) and her dua because of the impact that her strength and courage have on me. Her dua is also important for us to derive lessons about what our ultimate objective should be in this world. This podcast will definitely help you to ponder on the importance of making dua and the benefits of sacrificing for Allah. Click this link to listen to the podcast.

These are just three of my favourites, you can find other Ramadan articles that I’ve written for the blog here. And be on the lookout for the 2017 Ramadan collaboration In sha Allah.
